About me
Hello, my name’s Annabelle, though I go by the alias kindofblue28 online.
I’d call myself someone who is very passionate about the arts—though I find the medium of gaming the most interesting medium out there. I believe that games are an underappreciated storytelling medium, and I wish more games with movie- or book-like qualities existed today.
I especially love adventure games and visual novels. Visual novels do a great job of adapting books into a visual form while still letting the reader imagine the inner workings of the story. Adventure games, while sometimes lacking strong narratives, can act as interactive art pieces or offer a look into the psyche of characters and how they interpret the world around them.
I’ve been drawing since I was 10 years old, and I’m passionate about bringing my characters and ideas to life visually. I hope one day to be a creator on the level of people like Goichi Suda or creators from CING such as Rika Suzuki and Taisuke Kanaski. I also enjoy writing and reading novels.
